ABOUT TULUM
Tulum is a town on the Caribbean coastline of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. It’s known for its beaches and well-preserved ruins of an ancient Mayan port city. The main building is a large stone structure called El Castillo (castle), perched on a rocky cliff above the white sand beach and turquoise sea. Near the ruins is the Parque Nacional Tulum, a coastal area with mangroves and cenotes (natural limestone sinkholes).

Bike Tour to Tulum Ruins Experience the Mayan Ruins by bike, 20 mins each way. Enjoy a leisurely bike tour along the beach road to the magical Tulum Ruins. Upon arriving we will have a guided walk through the Ruins.

Bike Tour to a Mangrove in Sian Kian A 20 minute bike ride takes us to the entrance of the Sian Kian reserve where we walk over a rickety bridge over the mangrove with extraordinary views and a new perspective on the area and great swimming and kayaking.

Grande Cenote Tour One of the best cenotes in the Riveria Maya is just a 15 min drive. A beautiful swimming spot to discover the underworld beauty of a cenote.

Are all levels of yoga welcome, from beginning to more advanced?
Yes, all levels are welcome. You will find that wherever you are in your practice you will get just what you need out of the yoga classes on this retreat.
What airport do I fly into?
You will book your international ticket into and out of Cancun, Mexico
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes. As all payments are non-refundable, the purchase of travel insurance is strongly recommended to ensure you are covered should any unexpected event arise. A personal, political, environmental, health or weather-related incident or pre-existing medical condition may prevent or interrupt your travels. Should you elect to not purchase travel insurance, note that you will be assuming 100% of any costs incurred for trip cancellation or trip interruption.
There are a broad variety of policies and providers for you to choose from. Be sure to understand the fine print of the policy you select to ensure you know exactly what is and isn’t covered — especially if you are concerned you may need to cancel for COVID-19 / pandemic-related reasons which most carriers would cover only under a "Cancel for Any Reason" tier of coverage. IMPORTANT: in order to guarantee maximum coverage, most travel insurance providers require that you obtain a policy within 5-10 days of placing your initial deposit. Although International Yoga cannot advise on specific policies or providers, you may find this guide helpful.
What is the cancellation & refund policy for this trip?
A $500 non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is required to secure your participation in this retreat. The final balance payment is due by May 14, 2022. All payments are final and non-refundable/non-transferable after May 14, 2022.
