Why I practice Baptiste yoga.
I believe that transforming one’s mind (and subsequently one’s life) progresses naturally from the physical transformation which occurs during asana practice. I practice Baptiste Yoga because it cultivates an intense community of people who stand for and hold one another accountable to achieving his and her own greatest potential.
Why I teach Baptiste Yoga.
I believe in giving people the tools to move their bodies in a way that is both safe and sustainable. I teach this practice to connect with other practitioners on a deeper level. My greatest joy comes from seeing a student fall in love with their practice or from reaching their fullest expression for the first time. Above all, I teach Baptiste Yoga because, for me, this practice gives life and I am just a vehicle to support the transformation of others’ lives.
My promise to you.
I will meet you where you are, without expectation, every single time you come to your mat. I promise to challenge you and to support you. I promise to share myself with you in a way that is authentic so as to one day inspire you to do the same. I promise to demystify your ideas of what ‘yoga’ or a ‘yogi’ look like. I promise to empower and inspire you, on your mat and in your life.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you… As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” -Marianne Williamson
